Wish You Were Here

I can be tough, I can be strong
But with you, It's not like that at all

There’s a girl who gives a shit

Behind this wall, you just walk through it

And I remember all those crazy things you said
You left them running through my head
You're always there, you're everywhere
But right now I wish you were here

All those crazy things we did
Didn't think about it just went with it
You're always there, you're everywhere
But right now I wish you were here

Damn

What I'd do to have you here
I wish you were here
Damn
What I'd do to have you near
I wish you were here

I love the way you are
It's who I am don't have to try hard
We always say, say like it is
And the truth is that I really miss
All those crazy things you said
You left them running through my head
You're always there, you're everywhere
But right now I wish you were here

All those crazy things we did
Didn't think about it just went with it
You're always there, you're everywhere
But right now I wish you were here

No, I don't wanna let go, I just wanna let you know
That I never wanna let go

Dapat Laging May Bago

New Book

After I had lunch, I decided to go to Powerbooks to kill some time since my appointment is scheduled at 1pm and it's only 12:20pm. I went around the bookstore looking for something interesting to buy. I came across the aisle dedicated to Philippine literature. I remembered one of the books in my list of future reads - Para Kay B. I tried to look for the book but I can't remember who the author is. All I remember is he is a well known showbiz writer and his first name starts with the letter 'R' (I later learned that the author's name is Ricky Lee, silly me). These info are of no help since the books are arranged by the authors' name. Last name that is. I'm not one who easily gives up so I continued my search and at last I found it. I picked it up as soon as I found it. But while I was happy to find it, I noticed that the book looks a little worn out already so I asked the first store clerk that I have laid eyes on if he could give me a new copy. He said that it is their last copy to my dismay. He suggested that I check out National Bookstore and see if they have the book. I went out of Powerbooks and took a quick stop at Bread Talk to buy some food and Sola iced tea in case I get hungry during my appointment. After that I headed to National Bookstore. It only took me a minute to find the book. I paid for it and went straight to Azta Urban Salon.

New Hairdo

I went to Azta Urban Salon at Alabang Town Center yesterday to get a digital perm for the first time. I've always had a straight hair - thanks to rebonding. The process took four hours to finish just like in rebonding. A cute and nice guy, I mean, gay and his female assistant did my hair. I wasn't able to eat the food I bought from Bread Talk since I didn't feel hungry which is surprising. I usually get hungry every four hours. I tried to read my newly bought book while waiting for the whole process to finish. The hairdresser said that I should not comb my curls, not even with my fingers. I don't really believe in giving tips but he's nice so I handed the hairdresser a crisp 1oo-peso bill.

Learned New Things

The book I bought, Para Kay B, is made up of short stories about love so I'm not really expecting to learn new facts. But guess what? I learned that a pig's orgasm lasts for 3o minutes. Whoa! 30 freaking minutes? I'm not sure if I should be envious or not. It's a good thing pigs don't lose their minds. I wonder what if humans have orgasms that long. Hmm.. . I also learned that lions mate for more than 50 times a day. Wth?! I thought humans are the horniest member of the animal kingdom. I guess I was wrong.

Since the book is written in Filipino, I was yet reminded again of my weakness. I'm not really good in Filipino. While I was reading the book, I came across some words that I don't even know the meanings of. I also had difficulty reading some words. Well this is exactly the reason why I am not fond of reading Philippine literature and I don't like reading aloud in Filipino. It's quite embarrassing since I am a Filipino raised in the Philippines. Good thing I don't have problems speaking in Tagalog.

MicroBlog Series #1

How do you get over someone who you know is perfect for you?

Prologue to the MicroBlog Series

I'm starting a new blog series and I'll be calling it MicroBlog. "Micro" because the series will be composed of really short blog entries which can be random thoughts and ramblings that I don't want to elaborate on. =) I was thinking whether to post them here or to tweet them instead. Obviously, the former idea won since I don't think I need a twitter account. So enough of the introduction. Here's the first of the series (see next entry).
